Close the Loop and 2Gem Consulting forge Partnership in the provision of Sustainability Services in the Middle East

Close the Loop and 2Gem Consulting are pleased to announce the formation of a strategic partnership in the provision of sustainability services in the Middle East and North Africa region. 2Gem is a consulting and project management company committed to help establish the principle and practice of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability throughout Lebanon, the GCC and North Africa. 

As part of the partnership, the two companies plan to respond to the increasing demand for comprehensive sustainability services by organizations in the public and private sectors. “By partnering with 2Gem Consulting, Close the Loop is able to introduce a holistic and  systemic approach to applying sustainability services in the Middle East & North Africa region and respond to the disconnect between talking about sustainability and actually implementing dedicated achievements" said  Panagiotis Panagiotakopoulos, Managing Director, Close the Loop.

The partnership will provide advisory and coaching services to organizations in the areas of Corporate Responsibility and Environmental Management. More specifically, in the area of Corporate Responsibility Management services will concentrate in the design of a Sustainability Strategy supported by a Sustainability Assessment Methodology, tailor made to the specific characteristics (size, mode of operation) of the organization, and the subsequent creation of the Corporate Sustainability Report.

In the area of Environmental Management, services will include Carbon and Water Footprint accounting and inventory at the corporate and product levels, assignment of the appropriate Ecolabel that better suits the size, structure and products/services of organizations, as well as integrated services regarding Sustainable Construction. Furthermore, special emphasis will be provided to assist organizations in managing effectively their supply chain and upgrade it to a Sustainable Supply Chain.
